The agricultural sector is evolving thanks to innovation and knowledge. Here’s a bit more useful terminology from us that makes the land more productive and the work easier to understand.
- Mycorrhiza — a “partnership” between fungi and plant roots. It helps crops absorb nutrients and water from the soil more efficiently.
- Alfalfa — a legendary forage crop that enriches the soil with nitrogen. After it, the soil becomes more fertile.
- Halophytes — plants that can tolerate saline soils. They thrive where other crops struggle to survive.
- Spelt — an ancient variety of wheat with a strong character. It grows well on challenging soils and has high nutritional value.
- Chiseling — a type of deep soil loosening without turning over the soil layer. It helps relieve compaction and preserve the soil’s natural structure.
