Ukraine exported over 20.7 mln tonnes of grains — Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of January 20, Ukraine exported 20.765 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 8.5 mln tonnes, barley — 3.746 mln tonnes, maize — 8.286 mln tonnes, other grains — 233 thsd tonnes.
According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 215 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 20.98 mln tonnes (including 8.551 mln tonnes of wheat, 3.76 mln tonnes of barley, 8.436 mln tonnes of maize).
