LLC "Agroterminal Construction" (Sumy) has installed equipment for its own electricity generation and applied to the local distribution system operator (DSO) for temporary connection of a cogeneration unit with a capacity of 1,560 kW. However, the local power company has not yet resolved the issue of connecting the company as an electricity producer to the grid, despite the fact that the conditions set by law have been met, technical conditions comply with requirements, and alternative connection points have been proposed.

The local DSO sent a letter to the company stating that they lack the material and technical resources to connect the cogeneration unit and cannot perform the construction and installation work on their own, ignoring the availability of alternative connection points provided by the company. Amid the energy generation deficit caused by enemy airstrikes, such actions by the local distribution system operator negatively affect the population's electricity supply.
