In two years Ukraine will be selling $3.5-4 billion worth of agricultural goods to China. This has been stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine — Mykola Prysiazhniuk.

In two years Ukraine will be selling $3.5-4 billion worth of agricultural goods to China. This has been stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine — Mykola Prysiazhniuk.

He also noted, that in 2013 Ukraine sold to PRC $800 billion worth of AIC, which is 10 times more than sales volumes in 2012 ($70 million). The plan for 2014 is to increase sale volumes to $2-2.5 billion, and by 2015 — to $3-5 billion.

The Minister has also added that currently, for comparison, annual overall product turnover between the two countries is $10 billion.

He also stressed that in development of mutual relations, increase in dynamics of product turnover belongs to documents signed in Beijing in early December, during President Viktor Yanukovych’s official visit, in particular, the agreement of strategic partnership among Ukraine and China.
