Ukraine’s grain export reached 23.2 million tons
As of March 3, 2014, since the beginning of 2013/14MY (July-June), there was 24.7 million tons of grains and legumes exported from Ukraine (as of February 24 - 23.9 million tons), which is 26.8% more than on the same date last year.

According to data of the Ministry of Agrarian Food and Policy, there was 7.43 million tons of wheat delivered abroad (including, 6.01 million tons of wheat for food), 2.14 million tons of barley and 14.89 million tons of corn.
In addition, on the date mentioned, from the beginning of the season there was 2.06 million tons of rape and 0.93 million tons of soy beans delivered abroad.
Total grain export during February, 2014, according to a preliminary data, amounted to 2.8 million tons, including wheat - 0.4 million tons, barley- about 30 thousand tons, corn – 2.3 million tons. Also, there was 0.2 million tons of oilseeds sent abroad.
According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, in 2013/14 MY, Ukrainian export of grain and legumes will amount to approximately 33 million tons.
