As of March 3, 2014 there are more 28 million tons of grains available in stock on the domestic market; that includes wheat - 9.6 million tons, barley - 3.8 million tons, corn - 13.5 million tons. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the report, during March-June of the current year demand on the domestic market will be 11.9 million tons. Given the formation of the ending stock at 7.6 million tons, approximate export amount this time is expected to be 8.7 million tons. The Ministry also notes, that currently the crop market is active and prices - stabile.
As previously reported, as of March 3, since the beginning of 2013/14 MY, there was 24.7 million tons of grain exported. Overall, according to forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, in the current farming season export of grain from Ukraine will be about 33 million tons.
