“As of March 11, early spring crops make up 106 thousand hectares, or 4% of the forecast. Including, barley- 82 thousand ha, peas- 16 thousand ha, wheat- 2 thousand ha, oats- 6 thousand oats”, - he said.
According to Mr. Shvaika, in the current year it is planned to sow spring crops on an area of over 18.5 million hectares. Including, spring grains on 8.6 million hectares.
He has also informed that winter crops that survived through winter are in satisfactory condition in all regions of Ukraine.
