Grain export

The actual export volume of grain is 31 507 thousand tons, of which: wheat — 9 029 thousand tons, corn — 19 810 thousand tons, barley — 2 325 thousand tons and other grain — 343 thousand tons.

Also, there is another 781 thousand tons of grain at port elevators (wheat — 316 thousand tons, barley — 92 thousand tons, corn — 370 thousand tons), 29 thousand tons has already been loaded on ships.

Thus, the volume of grain exports and export-ready grain amounts to 32.3 million tons (wheat — 9.4 million tons, barley — 2.4 million tons and corn — 20.2 million tons).

The pricing situation on the domestic grain market

The demand price for grain harvest of 2013/2014 MY currently varies depending on the region: 3rd class wheat — from 1 790 to 2 760 UAH /t, 6th grade feeding wheat — 1 659 to 2 660 UAH/t.

Currently, prices of wheat for food and wheat for feed are: 3-grade wheat — 2 404 UAH/t, for feed — 2 267 UAH/t.

Average prices for barley is 1 945 UAH/t, and 2 126 UAH/t for corn.
