According to the SE “The State Registry of Ukraine”, as of June 20 of the current year, Ukraine has 692 certified grain storage facilities with a total capacity of 32.422 million tons. Such announcement was made by the press service of the State Agricultural Inspectorate on June 24.

According to the report, the stock of grains and oilseeds in grain warehouses and port handling complexes amounts to 4,453 million tons (14% of the capacity); including, 806 thousand tons of grain located in port handling complexes.

On the date mentioned, the supply of wheat was 1,369 million tons.

Also, according to the State Registry, as of June 18 of the current year, regional stock of grains amounts to 554.3 thousand tons, 522.3 thousand tons of which is wheat, 22.9 thousand tons of rye, and 9.1 tons of other crops.

Also, this includes reserves of 540.6 thousand tons of grain for food created in regions due to own production, as well as generated from operator’s own funds, under agreements between local authorities and producers, processors and other business entities.
