As of July 1, according to the operative data, from the total area of 891 thousand hectares, 9% of the plan, excluding the Crimea, there was 2.475 million tons of early grain and leguminous harvested, with average yield of 27.8 c/ha. Reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, winter wheat was harvested from the area of 227 thousand hectares. Yielding 27.2 c/ha, total yield amounted to 620 thousand tons of grain.

Winter barley was harvested from an area of 655 thousand hectares. To the date reported, the yield amounted 1.841 million tons of grain, yielding 28.1 c/ha.

Also, there was 15 thousand tons of peas harvested, yielding 18.1 c/ha. 8 thousand hectares of legumes has been trashed.

In addition, with an average yield of 16.6 c/ha, there was 186 thousand tons of winter rapeseed harvested from an area of 112 thousand hectares.

According to the authorities, on July 1, 2013 from the area of 2.174 million hectares there was 5,548 million tons of grain collected, with average yield of 25.5 c/ha.
