Russian aggressors struck Europe’s largest poultry farm, Chornobaivska, with guided aerial bombs: a massive fire and extensive destruction have been reported at the facility
Russian occupation forces have carried out yet another act of terror against Ukraine’s civilian and food infrastructure. The enemy struck the territory of the Chornobaivska poultry farm in Kherson region, part of the Ukrlandfarming Group of Companies, with several guided aerial bombs (KABs).
As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the premises of the enterprise. A significant part of the production complex was destroyed by fire and explosions. Emergency services are working at the site, while efforts continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack and assess the scale of the destruction. Preliminary estimates put the damage at hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Chornobaivska poultry farm is one of the most modern and largest poultry facilities not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. The enterprise has repeatedly been targeted by Russian invaders.
At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during the occupation of Kherson region, the poultry farm was completely cut off from electricity and blocked by the occupiers. Due to the impossibility of delivering feed and maintaining operations, 4.7 million birds died.
During the occupation, Russian troops completely looted the enterprise, removed modern equipment and vehicles, and destroyed its infrastructure. After the de-occupation, the Ukrlandfarming Group of Companies restored production at this facility, which is important for Ukraine’s food security.
