ULF’s regional office for Kherson and Mykolayiv Provinces at Novoraysk, Kherson Province, serving as a depot for farming machinery, crop protection products, mineral fertilisers, seeds and other inventories worth millions of US dollars has been ravaged and plundered by the invaders who took their loot with them as they retreated. This includes tractors, combine harvesters, farming machines, UAVs - a total of 470 units of machinery chiefly by John Deere (combines, tractors, spraying and sowing implements), UAVs used for tillage and other inventories.   The depot itself has been decimated. The invaders have stolen anything they could put their hands on – fuel, seeds, USD 60m worth of crop protection products, some 100K tonnes of sunflower and corn seeds. An employee who now serves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is among those troops who are liberating Kherson Province has made it to the depot and shot a video showing the scale of the devastation and losses inflicted by the invaders on our assets. Other group companies located in Kherson Province have also been ravaged by the occupiers. Major damage has been done to Chornobaivske, Europe’s largest industrial egg farm, located in Kherson Province. The group has invested USD 400m in this facility. Some 4m productive layers and 700K young pullets died without any possibility to dispose of the bodies in a sustainable manner. Direct losses alone from the damage done to the farm have totalled UAH 800m while total financial losses from the destruction of industrial egg laying facilities have hit UAH 1.5b to date. Russia’s crimes and all the losses caused to our facilities are been documented. We shall seek damages from the occupying power for all the losses incurred. We have faith in our victory and thank our troops for liberating Ukrainian territories from occupation!
