As of November 1, Ukraine harvested 51.07 million tons of grain and leguminous plants (initially recorded weight), that is 24.9% more than on the same date in 2012.

As of November 1, Ukraine harvested 51.07 million tons of grain and leguminous plants (initially recorded weight), that is 24.9% more than on the same date in 2012.
By the date mentioned, harvest of sunflower seeds increased by 24.4% compared with the beginning of November, 2012 - up 10.36 million tons.
Ukraine has also collected 8.26 million tons of sugar beet (37.2% less than last year), 22.1 million tons of potatoes (4.5% less) and 8.86 million tons of vegetables of exposed soil (2.6% less).
As it has been reported, referring to a forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, this year country’s overall grain harvest will reach 60 million tons, against 46.2 million tons in 2012.
