According to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, until the end of the current year, the domestic agricultural sector will continue to grow its production figures.
«Traditionally, domestic agriculture remains one of the few industries with a tendency of positive growth. And, it is predicted, that in 2013 overall production of agricultural goods will grow by 9.3% compared with 2012. Such increase will result from highest grain yields in the country's history - about 60 million tons.  In addition, we have a positive trend in livestock production. Indeed, the profitability of this given area is gradually increasing as well. In the current year, it reached 12.4 %”, - said the head of the agricultural department Mykola Prysiazhniuk, quoted above.

The Minister has also added that in the current year due to use of modern technologies yields in Ukraine increased, on average, by 42%.
"This kind of motivation and output growth must be maintained. In order to do so we have developed a range of measures, therefore we expect that, compared to the previous year by 2020, the volume of gross agricultural production will increase by 1.3 times," - said Mr. Prysiazhniuk.
