In 2013/14 MY Ukraine will be among top three largest grain exporters in the world. This has been stated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine- Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

According to Mr. Prysyazhnyuk, in the current year expected harvest of early crops will be about 31 million tons.

"If we were to account for the late grains as well, the expected harvest is 57-58 million tons. This will allow us to ensure the food security of the country and export 27-28 million tons of grain", - said the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

M. Prysyazhnyuk has also noted that the projected wheat exports in August will be 1.5-1.7 million tons against 1.2 million tons of grain supplied to foreign markets in July.
