Ukraine Intends to Increase Supply of Agricultural Products and Food to Saudi Arabia
Within the framework of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia negotiations on subjects of deepening cooperation of both countries in agriculture, infrastructure development and investment attraction were held.
Within the framework of Mr. Mykola Prysiazhniuk’s visit, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held between June 1 and 4th, negotiations on subjects of deepening cooperation of both countries in agriculture, infrastructure development and investment attraction were held. This, on June 4 was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
"Ukraine is interested in increasing supplies of finished products of domestic agriculture and food to the Saudi market. In 2012, domestic farmers exported to Saudi Arabia agricultural products worth $581.5 million. Namely, there was $509 million worth of grains and sunflower oil for $70 million exported. Since the beginning of 2013, domestic farmers exported agricultural products worth $34.2 million,"-said Mr. Mykola Prysiazhniuk.
