China rejects another cargo with 21.8 thousand tons of U.S. corn
Chinese importers rejected previously contracted cargo with American corn with total volume of 21.8 thousand tons. The reason for decline, traditionally, was suspicion that grain contained GM component of Syngenta MIR162 type. As a result, for this same reason, since the beginning of the calendar year, Chinese importers have already declined over 0.8 million tons of grains.

Chinese importers are continuing to refuse from previously contracted cargo of American grains exert significant downward pressure on corn quotes in Chicago, pushing market participants to a pessimistic mood. At the same time, the released with a reduction in U.S. corn exports to China niche creates additional opportunities for Ukrainian exporters who intend to actively increase grain sales to China.
