According to experts of the International Grains Council (IGC), in 2014/15 MY world’s corn harvest will amount to 955 million tons, which is by 0.5% higher than April’s estimates (950 million tons), according to UkrAgroConsult which refers to Bloomberg.

IGC raised its forecast for corn production in Brazil to 71.5 million tons, compared to 70.5 million tons last month. Harvest of corn in the U.S. is expected to reach 350 million tons. The assessment has not changed since last month. Last year, harvest of corn in the U.S. was 353.7 million tons.
