The Ministry of Agrarian Policy increased its forecasts as for Ukraine’s grain export by 8.3% in 2013/2014 MY
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food expects that in 2013-2014 marketing year (MY, July 2013-June 2013) Ukraine’s grain export will amount to 32.5 million tons, up 8.33% than in its previous forecast.

“The gross harvest is expected to be 63 million tons- this is in bunker weight. The net weight, after completion, we expect to be 61.5 million tons. With this kind of calculation expected export volumes are 32.5 million tons”, - per first deputy minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ivan Bisyk, in Kiev on Wednesday.
As reported earlier, in the current season the Ministry forecasted country’s grain harvest to be around 60 million tons, and export- 30 million tons.
