Proceeds from the export of the AIC goods may grow by 4 billion UAH - the Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Ukraine may receive more than 4 billion UAH of additional revenues from the export of agricultural and industrial goods; in particular, more than 2 billion UAH from the trade of grain, in case if Ukraine signs an Association Agreement with the E.U. and creation of a free trading zone, according to UIIA at the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian policy and Food of Ukraine.

"The initial effect of the abolition of duties with the E.U., according to experts, will provide additional revenues from the export of agricultural goods amounting to more than 4 billion UAH. In particular, from the grain trade Ukraine will be able to additionally obtain more than 2 billion UAH", - the press service quoted Mykola Prysiazhniuk, the head of Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
The Minister has also noted that in the long term, creation of a free trade zone will be beneficial not only for Ukraine and the E.U., but to other Ukrainian trade partners, as well.
According to the UIIA, over the period of January -August 2013, Ukrainian agrarians supplied foreign markets with agricultural goods for $10 billion; that is 25% of the country’s total export during this period. Earlier, Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasted that in 2013 Ukrainian agrarians can increase their revenues from agricultural exports to $21 billion, which is by 15.4% higher than in 2012.
