In 2014, taxation system for agricultural sector will be preserved, which in turn, will allow agrarians to gain benefits for the overall sum of more 20UAH million. This is stated in the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Taking that, the Ministry also point out that 2014 state budget, if compared to the previous year’s budgets, provides substantial increase in support to agricultural sector of the country.
“In the Ukrainian legislation “On State Budget of Ukraine for 2014”, state support to agro industrial sector was preserved and significantly increased, compared with last year, in particular, agriculture and, primerily, livestock”, — is said in a statement.
In 2014, according to the Ministry, the state budget will allocate 900UAH million on the development of animal husbandry; last year this sector was financed by 650UAH million. The support program provides state financed subsidies to preserve and increase the number of cattle, compensation of loan interest rates, development of servicing agricultural cooperatives, etc. In addition, the Ministry noted that the state budget of the current year renews its funding for wholesale markets of agricultural products, and allocates 200UAH millions for it.
Also, in 2014, compared with the previous year, government increased its support to viticulture, horticulture and gardening in 7 times — its funding is 700 UAH million.
This year’s budget has 192UAH million planned for leased equipment, including 140UAH million from the general fund.
