In 2013, export of agricultural goods from Ukraine decreased by 5.5% in comparison to 2012- to $17.3 billion. This was announced on the press conference on February 11 by Mykola Prysiazhniuk, who temporarily performs obligations of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

Import, according to him, totaled $8.6 billion.
The turnover from foreign trade of Ukrainian agribusiness, according to the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, amounted to $26 billion, which is 18.5% of the foreign trade turnover of Ukraine.
Most of agricultural goods were exported to Asia- 34%, to EU - 27% and CIS countries - 21%.
