According to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, since the beginning of the current marketing year (MY, July 2013- June 2014) and up until April 22, Ukraine exported 28.96 million tons of grains.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, during this period, in particular, there was about 8.16 million tons of wheat (for food- 6.81 million tons) exported, 2.21 million tons of barley and 18.27 million tons of corn.
As reported with citation to the State Statistics Committee data, in 2013 Ukraine harvested nearly 63 million tons of grain, which is 36.3% more than in 2012.
In 2013/2014 marketing year the Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects Ukrainian grain export to be at 33 million tons level.
