He has noted that in the current year Ukrainian farmers have all prerequisites and chances to grow and harvest 28.5-29.0 million tons of corn, 22.0-22.5 million tons of wheat, about 8 million tons of barley, about 2 million tons of rye and cereal grains.
Thus, the gross grain harvest in Ukraine, according to Mr. Stoyanov’s forecast, will be 60.5-61.5 million tons.
Recall that in 2013 grain harvest in Ukraine, according to the State Statistics Service, was 63 million tons.
