This was stated by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

In particular, early spring grains have been planted on an area of about 2.6 million hectares, corn- on an area of 4.8 million hectares (97% of the forecast).

Buckwheat was planted on 139 thousand hectares (85% of the forecast), millet — on 95 thousand hectares (87% of the forecast), and 10 thousand hectares with rice (42% of the forecast).

Sugar beet was planted on an area 333 thousand hectares (101% of the forecast).

Sunflower, currently, was seeded on an area of 4.7 million hectares, or 103% of the forecast, and soybeans — on an area 1.7 million hectares, or 100% of the forecast.
