Early grains and legumes have been threshed on an area of 7664 thousand ha, 26087 thousand tons of grain of new harvest has been collected, including:

• Wheat has been threshed on an area of 4833 thousand hectares, 18000 thousand tons has been harvested;
• Barley has been threshed on an area of 2549 thousand hectares, 7426 thousand tons has been harvested;
• Rye has been threshed on an area of 105 thousand hectares, 249 thousand tons has been harvested;
• Oats have been threshed on an area of 39 thousand hectares, 88 thousand tons been harvested;
• Peas were trashed on an area of 138 thousand hectares, 323 thousand tons been harvested.

In addition, rapeseeds have been threshed on an area of 820 thousand hectares, the new harvest amounts to 1956 thousand tons.

Harvesting of early grains has been completed in farms of Kherson, Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions; in Niolaev (99%) and Kirovograd (97%) regions is coming to an end.

The largest gross grain harvest has been collected in Odessa region — 2.9 million tons, Kharkiv — 2.5 million tons and Dnepropetrovsk — 2.4 million tons. The highest grain yields have been obtained in Khmelnitsky — 46.9 c/ha, Sumy — 45.9 c/ha, and Cherkasy — 45.1 c/ha regions.
