Experts from Reuters have voiced their pricing expectations on the Chicago Stock Exchange CBOT during the IV quarter of 2014.

In particular, it is expected that in October-December of the current year the average price of wheat will amount to $5.52 per bushel, against the current position of December’s futures $5.73 per bushel. With that, the grain prices will vary between $5.02- 5.92 per bushel, which is 7.2% lower than last year.

Given figure for corn will drop to an average of $3.52 per bushel, against current position of the December’s futures $3.67 per bushel. Moreover, this figure may vary among $3.02- 4.15 per bushel, which is 16% lower than during the same period in 2013.

As for soybeans, the November futures contract will drop to $10.27 per bushel, against current $10.65 per bushel. Taking that, the price range of the given indicator will be $9.42- 11.3 per bushel, which is 19.8% lower than during same period a year earlier.

Analysts also point out that the formation of the downward trend will facilitate, primarily, an increase in world gross harvest of these crops. Favorable weather conditions that have currently established over the territory of major crop producing countries will contribute to such trend.
