Ukraine is discovering new markets for vending its agricultural products. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, at the 25th International Agricultural Exhibition "Agro 2013".
“We are constantly occupying new markets for sale of our agricultural products. These are markets in Japan, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of South Africa”, - he said. The President has also stated that situation in the animal breeding field is improving, and profits in this area have demonstrated steady growth from 2010 to 2012.
“It’s pleasure to note that the world is interested not only in our grains, but also in our animal products. During previous year, every 11th ton of grain sold on the global market was of Ukrainian origin. We make up about 9 percent of the global grain market”, - the President said.
“Ukraine is also exporting wood to the European Union and takes up one of the leading positions on the global grain market”, - said President Yanukovych.
