Since the beginning of 2012/13 MY, and as of May 24, Ukraine supplied the outside market with 21.6 million tons of grain, exceeding 2011/12 MY index by 11.2%. This has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

According to the report, during the indicated period of the current MY, export of wheat was 6.6 million tons (including 5..7 million tons for food purposes), barley – 2.04 million tons, corn- 12..6 million tons. In addition, Ukraine has also exported 2.6 million tons of oilseeds.

Namely, since the beginning of May, Ukraine supplied 699.2 thousand tons of grain to foreign market, 98.5 thousand tons of which was wheat, 7.3 thousand tons- barley, 595 thousand tons- corn. Also, export of oilseeds since the beginning of May was 55.9 thousand tons.
