This was reported during meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Mr. Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.
"95% of winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition"- reported Mr.Prysyazhnyuk. According to him, farmers will be forced to re-plant about 500 hectares of winter crops. The minister praised farmers' seed security in 105%, he said that this year the price of fuel is somewhat lower compared to the previous year. Mr.Prysiazhniuk said that as of Friday, April 19, farmers have planted more than 2 million tons of summer grain crops.
