Ukraine’s exports to the EU increased by 10-12% — V. Pyatnitskiy

Within past 10 months of the current year export from Ukraine to the EU, compared with the previous year, increased by 10-12%. According to the UNN, such announcement has been made by Mr. Pyatnitskiy, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, to journalists before the seminar for representatives of Ukrainian business.

By the end of 2014 China is out to reduce its grain imports. Such prediction was made on November 26 by the representative of China Sinopharm International Company- Mr. Chris Van, in Kyiv at the second round of V Ukrainian Grain Congress.

By 2023, compared to the current year, global wheat export is expected to grow by 22%, grain for feed- by 14%. This, on November 26, has been stated in Mr. Dmytro Pryhodko’s report, the economist of Investment Center of Global Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Kiev while at second round of V Ukrainian Grain Congress.

In Ukraine, milk production and consumption is growing; while its import and export is declining

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the past 10 months milk produced (excluding the temporary occupied Crimea territory) by all farm categories has increased by 0.7%. In particular, agricultural enterprise farms produced 2268.9 thousand tons (4.1% more than last year during the same period), while production of milk in household farms decreased by 0.3% and amounts to 7519.2 thousand tons.
