There are favorable weather conditions in Ukraine in order to conduct field work

In Ukraine, under favorable weather conditions that established in the past few days, fall field works have speeded up. Thus, farmers have already harvested more than 41 million tons of grain. This is 13% more than a year ago. Seeding process has intensified, too. Now the warm weather and plenty of moisture in the soil help to ensure a good germination and formation of the future harvest of winter crops. This was announced by the Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food- Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

As of August 2, 2013 there were 9,601 thousand hectares, or 91% of the forecast, of legumes and early grains threshed in Ukraine, yielding 30 c / ha (on the same date in 2012 - 25.1 c / ha), and harvested 28,804 thousand tons of grain In Ukraine.
